The Secret Room
I think that was the name of the book. The story is about a little girl whose mother is pregnant. She misunderstands “womb” to be “room”. And thinks her mom has a secret room in her belly for her baby. It is one of the best I came across to prepare a young child to be an older sibling. The pictures were gorgeous and I think done in pastel. I do remember the book was blue…. I had this for my daughter about 30 years ago. I am now trying to find a copy for my grandson (her son) who will be a big brother in the spring.
